Lakshmi Kruttika Vijay is a graduate from the NALSAR University of Law, Hyderabad. Her interest in Intellectual Property was sparked after a course in the subject in her penultimate year in law school, following which she joined SpicyIP as an experiment. Her love for the subject has grown ever since.

In the past, she has been a member of the Editorial Board of the Indian Journal of Intellectual Property Law, 2008-09.

She currently works in the Litigation Department of a Delhi-based law firm that specializes in Intellectual Property Laws.
